How to Give
Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR)
If you have automatic debits from your bank account to pay for insurance, cable TV, taxes, fuel, or a mortgage, then you understand the PAR principle. It means regular contributions throughout the year that make it easy to donate to the United Church.
Important Note
Effective March 1, 2010, the Canadian Payments Association (CPA) Rule H1, which governs pre-authorized payments in Canada, has changed. To follow these new rules, three new forms have been created, available under “Resources for Congregations.”
