God, we hold in prayer
our struggles to untangle the mess
created by our individual and communal brokenness:
the stereotypes, biases, and systemic forms of injustice
that enmesh, confine, and block us
from being in right relations with each other.
We invite your forgiving, reconciling, and transforming grace
to be with us as we attempt to unravel
the systems of injustice, violence, and hatred
that we have created with our misguided prejudices and fears.
