Are you a community of faith that would like to host a young adult who is considering ministry? Consider becoming a Host Site!

May–August, 2020

We need Host Sites

A Host Site:

  • Hosts a young adult from a different regional council who is exploring their call to ministry leadership
  • Provides a mentor to work with and guide the Explorer (these young adults are not candidates and do not have a supervisor, but they do need someone to advise them as they explore their gifts and skills for ministry)
  • Provides a Host Committee of a minimum of three people to organize travel, accommodation, and support
  • Invites the Explorer into leadership opportunities within their community of faith that will help them explore their call to leadership and help them with their learning goals
  • Provides accommodation and meals for the Explorer over the three months they are hosting; each Host Site will be given $1,000 to help with these expenses

Host Sites must:

  • Provide a Host Committee of a minimum of three people to organize travel, accommodation, and support
  • Work with an Explorer to arrange travel, accommodation, and support
  • Be open and supportive of a young adult who is considering their call to ministry within a new community of faith different from the one in which they are current living and worshipping

We have extended the application deadline to assure we can place all of the Explorers that have applied for 2020. Please submit your application by January 31, 2020. The applications will be considered as they are received, so please submit as early as possible. To apply to be a Host Site,  submit this form
