A Host Site

  • Hosts a young adult from a different regional council who is exploring their call to ministry leadership
  • Provides a mentor to work with and guide the Explorer (these young adults are not candidates and do not have a supervisor, but they do need someone to advise them as they explore their gifts and skills for ministry)
  • Provides a Host Committee of a minimum of three people to organize travel, accommodation, and support
  • Invites the Explorer into leadership opportunities within their community of faith that will help them explore their call to leadership and help them with their learning goals
  • Provides accommodation and meals for the Explorer over the three months they are hosting; each Host Site will be given $1,000 to help with these expenses

Host Sites must:

  • Provide a Host Committee of a minimum of three people to organize travel, accommodation, and support
  • Work with an Explorer to arrange travel, accommodation, and support
