IRIDESCE: The Living Apology Project seeks to inspire and reconcile people of diverse sexual, romantic, and gender expressions and identities within The United Church of Canada.

Affirm United/S’affirmer Ensemble has hired Aaron Miechkota as the new coordinator for the project. Aaron, who is currently studying to become an ordained minister, brings a background in creative communications to her role. She is interested in the theology of friendship with people and the earth.

Affirm United/S’affirmer Ensemble is taking the lead on this journey toward a living apology to gender- and sexually-diverse communities, a process which the church voted to begin at its 2015 General Council. The United Church is grateful for Affirm United/S’affirmer Ensemble’s leadership in this process.

For more information and to get involved, see Affirm United/S’affirmer Ensemble’s website.
