Advent is a revolutionary time to prepare for Christ’s reign―a better world.
Advent begins on Sunday, November 29, 2020!
What does Advent mean to you?
We often define Advent as the four Sundays before Christmas set aside to prepare for Christ’s coming. For me, Advent is a revolutionary time to prepare for Christ’s reign―a better world.
Every Advent, I am reminded that the world is not as it should be nor as it will be. And I ask myself, what can I do to help build the world that would welcome and embrace Christ’s dream?
The Advent Unwrapped team has been working hard to provide you and your community of faith with some tools and resources to celebrate Advent and to help build a better world. Advent Unwrapped resources can be found right here on united-church.ca. You can also sign up for Advent Unwrapped e-mails and follow us on Facebook for updates and regular nuggets of inspiration.
Thank you for making us a part of your preparations. It’s going to be a revolutionary Advent!
Prepping with you,
