When viewing pages on this site that do not use the Latin-based alphabet, you may see boxes or question marks in place of the text. This is because your browser does not have a language pack installed that can display that particular alphabet. Language packs are available as free downloads from both Microsoft and Apple. See your system language settings to install additional language support. Note that all webpages that do not use the Latin-based alphabet are also available in English or French.
Simply click the "print" icon at the top of your screen. Only the relevant information on each page will print—and it will all fit on the page as it should. We also remove some of our larger and more colourful images when you choose to print to help conserve your ink and toner.
We do not display the full e-mail address, e.g. <username@domain-name.ca>, on any web page. The reason is that masking e-mail addresses is a way to reduce the amount of unsolicited and junk e-mail (spam) we receive. You may click on any linked name and your default e-mail program should open.
Some users have had difficulties subscribing to or viewing our e-newsletters (Connections, Marketing News Update, Emerging Spirit News, etc.). See our E-newsletter Help page for some helpful tips.
This can happen for several reasons, but the most common are:
Our web pages are designed for a minimum screen resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. To change your screen resolution, go to your system's Control Panel.
Simply click the “maximize” button (or the “plus” button in Mac OS X) in the upper right of your window.
You will require a modern web browser to properly view our site. Please see our minimum requirements page for complete details.
Rich Text Format (RTF) is a cross-platform document interchange standard for presenting text-based documents. RTF can be opened (and created) by all major word processing applications including MS Word, WordPerfect, and OpenOffice.org. RTF documents can be copied, pasted, and modified easily.
Portable Document Format (PDF) is used to preserve pages as they were designed in a desktop publishing or page layout application. See our PDF Help page for more information.
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format for delivering summaries of frequently updated website material such as news releases and other announcements, forthcoming events and programs, etc. We offer several areas of our website in RSS so you can stay up to date easily. See our RSS Help page for more information.
