Ecumenical / Interfaith Relations
The United Church’s commitment to whole world ecumenism seeks the unity of the Christian community and respectful relationships with other faiths for the healing of the world.
- Ecumenical Relations
- The United Church participates in formal dialogues with the Anglican and Roman Catholic churches, in KAIROS and the Canadian Council of Churches, and in ministries shared by several denominations.
- Interfaith Relations
- Interfaith dialogue occurs through local, national, and global organizations. The church has published documents on whole world ecumenism, and United Church/Jewish and United Church/Muslim relations.
