The United Church of Canada Archives is open to all researchers who register annually and abide by our researcher regulations. Our hours are Monday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

It is often best to contact us with an inquiry in advance of making your first visit, so that we can

• advise you whether there may be records at the Archives relating to your inquiry
• explain how you can access the records you need
• refer you to another archives or institution that can help you, if we do not have records relating to your inquiry

At present, access to the Archives is free of charge. There are fees for copying records, and some restrictions as outlined in records descriptions and finding aids.

Location

The United Church of Canada Archives is located at the General Council Office of the United Church, ground floor. We are located in the east tower on the main floor, accessible via Islington TTC station. Please follow the signs for the Sun Life Financial Centre from the subway station. The Archives is wheelchair accessible, with washrooms, parking, and restaurants immediately adjacent in the food court.
