Minutes for Mission Booklet

These personalized M&S stories are designed for reading during Sunday worship. This is a great opportunity to motivate current and future M&S givers. Enthusiasts are encouraged to work with their worship or other appropriate committee to ensure that this is a regular part of worship. Also includes snippets to put in bulletins or newsletters as well as activities for children.

Minutes for Mission are also available online with videos for download.

Mandate M&S Fund Special Edition

Mandate Mission and Service Fund Special Edition is published each August and accounts for the gifts to the Mission and Service Fund. It lists the ministries in Canada and around the world whose work is funded by Mission and Service and offers stories about a variety of ministries funded by M&S.

Bulletins and Envelopes

Bulletins

Each year, the United Church produces high-quality bulletin covers that provide images and text for worship, explain the work of the Mission & Service Fund, and include coloured bands indicating the liturgical colour of the season. Special occasion bulletins, created from exceptional photographs taken by members and friends of the United Church, are great for weddings, funerals, baptism, and more.

Bulletins cost only $4.50 per 50, and proceeds from the sales support supports the work of the church. Find out more on our bulletins page.

Videos

Dare to Be

This video celebrating the history of The United Church of Canada is available in limited quantities from UCRD.

United in Action

This M&S video tells four mission stories: "Growing Food in Gaspé," "The Bicycle Club in Cabbagetown (Toronto)", "Face to Face with Connie Mabusela of Zimbabwe," and "The China Partnership." Copies are available to borrow through AVEL, or directly from the Philanthropy Unit.

Minutes for Mission

The United Church has produced several Minutes for Mission compilation DVDs and VCDs featuring short "Minute for Mission" clips. Available free of charge from UCRDstore.ca.

Several Conferences have produced their own videos—call your Conference office or local trainer to find out if one is available.
