Minutes for Mission Booklet

Rated as the most popular M&S resource, these personalized M&S stories are designed for reading during Sunday worship. This is a great opportunity to motivate current and future M&S givers. Enthusiasts are encouraged to work with their worship or other appropriate committee to ensure that this is a regular part of worship. Ask your ministry personnel to include the M&S worship ideas included in the Minutes for Mission booklet. There are also short pieces to include in bulletins or newsletters as well as activities for children. Weekly Minutes for Mission are also available online.

The Enthusiast Newsletter

Informative and up to date information is published several times a year in The Enthusiast. These newsletters are mailed to pastoral charges in the January, April, August and October Infopac. M&S Enthusiasts are invited to request these from their church office.

Mandate M&S Fund Special Edition

This is the major accountability piece for our M&S Fund and is sent to each pastoral charge in September. The magazine is full of stories, facts, figures, graphs, pie charts, etc. The flyer M&S At A Glance is short, easy to understand and is useful for meetings, workshops or for inclusion in Newsletters. It should be available to every church member, whether they're an M&S supporter or not. This material is also available online so that it can be included in your publications.

Bulletins

Each year, the United Church produces high quality bulletin covers that: provide images and text for worship; explain the work of the Mission & Service Fund; and include coloured bands indicating the liturgical colour of the season. The United Church also produces bulletin covers for special occasions in the life of your church. They are created from exceptional photographs taken by members and friends of the United Church, and are great for weddings, funerals, baptism, and more.

Dare to Be

This video celebrating the history of The United Church of Canada was produced for the 80th anniversary of the church and was mailed to all congregations in February 2005. It is available in limited quantities from UCRD.

United in Action

This M&S video tells four mission stories: "Growing Food in Gaspé," "The Bicycle Club in Cabbagetown (Toronto)", "Face to Face with Connie Mabusela of Zimbabwe," and "The China Partnership." Copies are available to borrow through AVEL, or directly from Financial Stewardship.

Minutes for Mission

Berkeley Studio has produced a Minutes for Mission compilation video, featuring short "Minute for Mission" clips. It is available on VCD or VHS free of charge from UCRD.
