Events

Young Teens in Council will provide a unique opportunity to explore and “give shape” to issues that are important to teens and to the church.

Through theatre, drama, discussion, and fun, participants will develop self-confidence, self-expression, and group-working and performance skills. The time will culminate in a performance for the wider General Council community!

During the evenings, the group will have fun at Camp Dunlop, on the beautiful Okanagan Lake, about 40 minutes from the UBC campus where General Council is held. Teens will stay overnight at the camp, and bus into the UBC campus each day.

You will

• meet interesting people from across Canada
• make new friends
• learn about the concerns of the church
• participate in exciting theatre programming
• participate in great activities at the camp
• play, laugh, and have fun!
