In Zimbabwe, The United Church of Canada, the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, and Zimbabwean partner Christian Care are jointly engaged in a multi-year program to help address chronic food insecurity and promote agricultural recovery through a revolutionary conservation farming initiative. The project is the largest project involving a single partner in the United Church's history and in the 26-year history of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank.
