Take Action: Justice for Refugees and Arms Control
7 March 2012
The United Church is calling for action on two critical issues:
Ask Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, to amend or withdraw Bill C-31, in order to produce refugee legislation that protects, not punishes, refugees. Visit our Take Action to learn more and act.
An effective UN Arms Trade Treaty in is needed in 2012 to stop the unregulated global arms trade from fueling continued conflicts. Join Project Ploughshares, the World Council of Churches, and the Control Arms Coalition to speak out in support of this campaign.
