Secure the Future of Medicare

The provincial premiers have recently been debating the merits of the health care reforms proposed by the federal government.
The United Church of Canada has had a long history of advocacy on behalf of universal health care as a human right and a public good. To this end, the United Church has signed a statement called "Secure the Future of Medicare: A Call to Care
," initiated by the Canadian Health Coalition, one of our Canadian justice partners.
Please read the full statement and talk to your Member of Parliament about your hopes and concerns.
