Dr. Jennifer Janzen-Ball has been appointed as the new Coordinator of the Designated Lay Ministry program at Calling Lakes Centre in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan. Jennifer has been working half-time at the General Council Office for the pst two years, designing and implementing racial justice workshops for ministry personnel. She also brings experience as an ordained minister in congregational ministry, a past national co-coordinator of the Student Christian Movement, and a teacher of Christian ethics to the position. Jennifer will begin her new ministry as DLM Coordinator on September 1, 2010.

Calling Lakes Centre recently announced the August 1 appointment of Annette Taylor as its new Executive Director, succeeding Linda Anderson. Annette has considerable experience in organizational and financial management, and in working in teams. She comes with a keen interest in adult education and a dedication to life-long learning. Annette has been in ministry with Living Shamrock Pastoral Charge since July 2005.
