Continuing Education

Learning Circles are small groups that gather by telephone conference call (sometimes augmented by free Internet meeting software) to talk about ways to make our ministry more exciting. The technology means that no one has to pay expensive travel costs to participate—you can connect to your group from wherever you are!

The technology is easy to use—even if you’ve never been on a conference call before, or never used your computer for anything other than browsing the Internet, you’ll have no trouble connecting.

• Four evenings with Bruce Sanguin: "Emerging Church: A Model for Change and a Map for Renewal"—January 31, February 7, 14, and 21, 8:00-9:30 p.m. Eastern time
• Sankofa: The Histories and Heritages of Black Peoples in The United Church of Canada—February 6, 13, 20, and 27, 8:00-9:30 p.m. Eastern time, with facilitator Adele Halliday
• Racial Justice Online Workshop: May 5 and 12, noon–2:00 p.m Eastern time
