For over three decades-from Project North through the work of the Aboriginal Rights Coalition and KAIROS-the United Church has advocated for Aboriginal rights including First Nations self-government.

Support of Aboriginal Land Rights at Douglas Creek, Caledonia, Ontario

The United Church stands in solidarity with the Aboriginal groups currently advocating for their treaty rights in Caledonia.

Sisters in Spirit Project

The United Church joins the Native Women's Association of Canada and the Anglican Church of Canada to launch the Sisters in Spirit campaign calling for solutions to the violence Aboriginal women encounter in Canada.
